Promotion Description:

All customers (non-Partners) to register prior to April 24, 2009 will be deemed an Entry to win one of seven vouchers for a self-paced online training course* (the  "Prize").  Eligible registrants for the drawing may be required to answer an additional skill question prior to being awarded the Prize.  If not available for any reason, a Prize of equal or lesser value will be furnished.

*Voucher code is non-transferable and only valid for one student.  Voucher code is valid for twelve months from issuance.  Once expired, voucher code becomes invalid. Voucher code may only be used for a self-paced online course chosen from among a selected list of self-paced online courses (to be provided) and is not valid for any other course/subscription.  Voucher code may not be returned or exchanged.

Eligibility:

The Promotion is open to any customer (non-Partner) that registers for the Promotion by 12:01 AM EST April 25, 2009,  but excludes those who reside in the following countries: Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, or any other country or locality where participation in the Promotion would subject either registrant or Citrix to fines or criminal proceedings. Employees of Citrix or its affiliates are not eligible to participate. Only one Entry per registrant is permitted. All entries become the property of Citrix.

Conditions of Participation:

By submitting an Entry for the Promotion, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions and any decision Citrix makes regarding the Promotion. Citrix reserves the right to disqualify from the Promotion, and any future contest or other promotion conducted by Citrix, and to take such other action as may be appropriate, any entrant or winner who, in Citrix’s reasonable suspicion, tampers with Citrix’s web sites, products or services, or the entry process, intentionally submits mechanical or false entries, violates these Terms and Conditions, or acts in any way contrary to the interests of Citrix, its products or services or the fair play of other contestants.

How-You-Win:

The potential winners of the Prize will be selected according to the following criteria: seven  random drawings from among all eligible registered participants.

Notification:

Notification to the winner of the Prize will be sent via email by 12:01 AM EST May 16, 2009. Citrix is not responsible for any delay or failure to receive notification for any reason, including inactive email account(s), technical difficulties associated therewith, or failure to adequately monitor any email account or mail or deliveries received at any physical address. The winner of the Prize must then respond to Citrix within seven (7) days from receipt of notification, and indicate an intention to accept the Prize. Should the recipient fail to respond to Citrix or be disqualified (for more information on disqualification, please read section under “Conditions of Participation”), Citrix reserves the right to select a new, replacement winner. If you accept the Prize, you agree to allow Citrix to provide your name, and the city or town and country of your residence in response to any request received for a list of Promotion winners. 

Shipment of Prize and Grand Prize:

Customs fees, duties, or any taxes due on the shipment of the Prize are the responsibility of the winner.

Taxes:

All taxes associated with the receipt or use of the Prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. Citrix reserves the right to withhold any taxes as required by applicable law. Prizes are not transferable. No substitutions (including for cash) are permitted, but Citrix reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or lesser monetary value to the Prize if for any reason any prize cannot be awarded as stated in these Terms and Conditions.

Privacy and Use of Promotion Information:

To participate in the Promotion, you may be asked to provide your name, organization and contact details. By submitting an Entry and/or otherwise participating in the Promotion, you expressly agree that we may collect such information from you and that we may use it as follows:

1. In connection with administering this Promotion;
2. To inform you by email about new products, services and offers that may be of interest to you. At any time after receiving an e-mail offer from Citrix, you may request to discontinue receiving these offers; and
3. For marketing and promotional material.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability:

CITRIX MAKES AND GIVES NO REPRESENTATIONS, CONDITIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, REGARDING THE PROMOTION OR ANY PRIZE OR ANY ENTRANT’S PARTICIPATION IN THE PROMOTION. CITRIX SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS, DAMAGE, COST, OR INJURY THAT ARISES FROM, ANY OCCURRENCE, EVENT OR CONDITION OUTSIDE CITRIX’S REASONABLE CONTROL THAT MAY AFFECT THE PROMOTION OR CAUSE THE PROMOTION TO BE DISRUPTED, SUSPENDED OR CORRUPTED, INCLUDING: (I) LATE, LOST, DELAYED, DAMAGED, MISDIRECTED, INCOMPLETE, OR UNINTELLIGIBLE ENTRIES; (II) TELEPHONE, ELECTRONIC, HARDWARE OR SOFTWARE PROGRAM, NETWORK, INTERNET, OR COMPUTER MALFUNCTIONS, FAILURES, VIRUSES OR DIFFICULTIES OF ANY KIND; (III) FAILED, INCOMPLETE, GARBLED, OR DELAYED COMPUTER TRANSMISSIONS; AND (IV) THE DOWNLOADING OF ANY MATERIAL IN CONNECTION WITH THE PROMOTION. Release:

BY ENTERING THE PROMOTION, EACH ENTRANT RELEASES AND AGREES TO HOLD HARMLESS CITRIX, SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES AND AGENTS FROM ANY LIABILITY WHATSOEVER FOR ANY CLAIMS, COSTS, LOSSES OR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THOSE RELATED TO PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH, DAMAGE TO PROPERTY, INFRINGEMENT OF PROPRIETARY RIGHTS, RIGHTS OF PUBLICITY OR PRIVACY OR DEFAMATION), ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH: (I) ENTERING THE PROMOTION; (II) ACCEPTANCE OR USE OF ANY PRIZE; OR (III) OTHERWISE ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE PROMOTION.
