CCEE for Virtualization Update Path

Keep your certification current!

Individuals with qualifying certifications can update to or recertify for the CCEE for Virtualization by following the shortened path below.  Current qualifying certifications for the update path are the Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA) for XenApp (Presentation Server 4), Citrix Certified Integration Architect (CCIA) for XenApp (Presentation Server 4) and CCEE for Virtualization.

Announcement: CCEA and CCIA for XenApp (Presentation Server 4) certificants are eligible to use this path until 7/31/2012. After this date, they will be required to pursue the full path to recertify. More information

Step 1.
Gain Administration experience (recommended)

Update path candidates should have experience with Citrix virtualization products - XenApp, XenServer and XenDesktop - in Windows Server 2008 and higher environments. Refer to the exam prep guide for your selected engineering exam to determine the best way to prepare, including the option to pursue product-specific Administrator Series certifications as needed. Step 2.
Pass Engineering Exam (select either A25 or A15). Which exam is right for you you?

or

Prepare with:
CVE-401-1 Engineering a Citrix Virtualization Solution (available Q1 2012)

A15 Engineering a Citrix Virtualization Solution (discontinuing 7/31/2012) CVE-400-1 Engineering a Citrix Virtualization Solution
Step 3.
Complete CCEE Program documentation
To complete this certification, candidates must:
  • Agree to the CCEE for Virtualization program agreement available in Certification Manager
